Growers can get updated

The Grains Research and Development Corporation will host a farm business update at the Yarrawonga-Mulwala Golf Club later this month.

The update, to be held on Wednesday, June 28, will cover a range of topics including information on: interest rates, enterprise risk and returns, farm planning, sprayers, changes to superannuation and how to utilise depreciation offsets when purchasing land.

The GRDC event will give interested parties the opportunity to hear relevant and timely farm business management information from a variety of industry experts, with the updates addressing a range of local challenges and opportunities for farm businesses in sustaining farm profitability.

The topics will be discussed by several guest speakers from companies such as Robinson Sewell Partners, Farmanco, Bunch Consulting, Belmores Charted Accountants and consulting business ORM.

The farm business update is on Wednesday, June 28 at the Yarrawonga-Mulwala Golf Club, Golf Club Rd, Mulwala, NSW from 9am to 1pm.

Cost is $30 per person and $20 for subsequent people from the same business, which includes a proceedings booklet, morning tea and lunch.
