Dookie campus works under way

July 19, 2017

Architect Graeme Hill outside dormitories being upgraded.

The multi-million-dollar building works at the Dookie campus of the University of Melbourne are expected to open within the next few months.

The refurbishments are expected to better accommodate students with improved living and study spaces and will clear some of the old houses.

Swinburne Hall will house new formal and informal learning spaces and the shared spaces in Dormitory A are being reinvigorated with new kitchenettes, shared common areas and bathroom facilities. The new facilities are expected to be available for use in August and an official opening is expected in October.
