Dealership long relied upon

Mr Mueller's family has been a long-time buyer of Case IH and Lely products. Currently, he has three pieces of Lely machinery on his property including this PC 370 mower conditioner.

O'Connors Shepparton sales representaive Adrian Fitzsimmons and Kyabram dairy farmer Brad Meuller.

O’Connors Shepparton has had a long history as a dealer for Lely Australia products, and the Mueller family from Kyabram has taken advantage of this long-time partnership.

The Shepparton company has been in partnership with Lely Australia for more than 25 years and Brad Mueller said his family was the reason why he and his wife Toni were buying from O’Connors now.

‘‘The family had associated with East End Garage (the local Case IH dealer at the time) in Kyabram and I just stuck with them (the dealership — which is now O’Connors),’’ he said.

‘‘They are good to deal with and I’ve always had faith with Case and Lely products,’’ Mr Mueller said.

On the 202.34ha property which is home to 160 dairy cows, Mr Mueller said the Lely machines he used were appropriate for his enterprise.

‘‘The three pieces complement each other. They all fit hand in glove as they work together from start to finish,’’ he said.

O’Connors sales representative Adrian Fitzsimmons said Lely was a good fit for the business because of its wide reach throughout the globe. ‘‘Lely is a Dutch company with factories throughout Holland and Germany and they supply hay and silage products worldwide,’’ he said.

Lely Australia’s eastern Victorian and southern NSW regional manager Brendan Prentice said the long-term partnership worked both ways.

‘‘When I look for a dealer, I am searching for a dealer that supports our product, wants to stock our product and one that reaches a wide variety of clientele,’’ he said.

‘‘O’Connors Shepparton have experienced parts and service personnel who support our products in a prompt and efficient manner.’’

O’Connors Shepparton has a wide range of products in stock, including a full selection of disk mowers, mower conditioners and Lely Welger balers, with one Welger product in particular a stand-out.

‘‘The Lely Welger balers have six models in the family starting from $61500 plus GST. Options include knives, drop floor and ISOBUS-compatible machines. The flagship is the Lely Welger Tornado silage bale wrapper,’’ Mr Prentice said. ‘‘Lely Welger balers are a front-loading net wrap system and are run on four endless belts covering 96percent of the bale chamber. This ensures none to minimal crop loss.’’

Mr Fitzsimmons said another highlight from the Lely range was the Tigo Loader Wagons, which Lely Australia says is a way to process crops quickly and gently, with its wide tines and small gap for knives.
