August 22, 2017

Next month's Stanhope Ute Show is for drivers of all ages.

The Stanhope Ute Show is returning next month, with plenty to do for all ages.

The day will commence at 8am with a barbecue breakfast, and the ute show component will begin from 10am.

Last year’s event had more than 50 utes and 100 people in attendance, while this year’s event has entries in multiple categories including: Pre ’90s BNS (Bachelor and Spinster Balls), 90-2000BNS, Post 2000BNS, Best 4x4, Best Feral, Best Chicks and Best Tradies utes.

The Ute Show is not the only fun to be had, with various stalls with alcoholic merchandise, ute stickers, soaps and candles for sale, mower races and children’s activities such as boot throwing on the program.

After the event, meals will be available from the Stanhope pub, where a goods and services auction and entertainment by country music artist Christie Lamb will take place.

■The Stanhope Ute Show will be held on Saturday, September 23 from 8am at the Stanhope Hotel.

■If you would like to enter a ute, mower, child’s ute or mower or to volunteer on the day, phone Mandi Goddard on 5857 2293 or email:
