A huge eight days of cutting is coming to Tatura Park when the Southern Seven Cutting Horse Association’s annual show and the National Cutting Horse Victorian Futurity events will be held back-to-back.

Starting with the Southern Seven Cutting Horse Association’s annual show which kicks off on Friday this week, the events will see horse-people descend on the township.

Southern Seven Cutting Horse Association’s Karen Phillips said their annual show had been held at Tatura Park for around the last 14 years.

‘‘Each year this premier event on the cutting calendar continues to grow with over 250 entries and 150 of the best-bred cutting horses from all parts of the country including as far as South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland,’’ she said.

The annual show kicks off this Friday September 8 at 8am and runs on both Saturday and Sunday also starting 8am each day at Tatura Park and entry is free.

This will be followed by the 2017 National Cutting Horse Victorian Futurity which runs from Wednesday September 13 to Sunday September 17, also at Tatura Park where spectator entry is free.
