The top priced ram at the Sammon Bros sale was purchased by Gary Andrews of Earlston for $2150. Bill Sammon is pictured at left with Gary Andrews and Tim Sammon.

There was a total clearance of 101 rams at the Sammon Bros Majella Poll Dorset stud’s 33rd annual sale on September 22.

Rams sold from $800 to $2150 for an average of $1191.

Major volume purchaser was Malcolm Ellis and Stan Wallis of Goorambat East.

Rams sired by the stud’s new stud ram sold very well for an average of $1400.

Sammon Bros hasn’t been resting on its laurels since, with the purchase of two stud rams from top NSW stud Kurralea at Ariah Park in the Riverina.
