Shepp Statos Sunday - Statesman and Caprice Family Fun Day

October 09, 2017

Shepp Statos Sunday is an informal gathering of Statesman and Caprice enthusiasts meeting up for a BBQ and tour of the Shepparton Motor Museum, Sunday, Oct 22, 2017. Our Brougham brothers and sisters are welcome too, as that's where the long-wheelbase legend began.

The BBQ starts at 12 noon, with vehicles expected to start arriving from 11.30 onwards and marshalling up on the museum forecourt carpark. Cost is $20 per person for museum entry and food and a drink. Children of primary school age and under are free. Competition entry included (pay on day).

This family-friendly event lets owners show off their favourite "boat". Anchor you big girl in the marshalled car parking to allow judges to peruse your special luxury car. 2017 will be the first time the event has been held. To celebrate the gathering, there will be some prizes for the following categories.

  • Best in Show, 2017 (Sponsor: Central Car Detailers)
  • Best modified Statesman or Caprice, 2017 (Sponsor: Peter Bonnes Photography, Red Shed Studios)
  • Best original Statesman or Caprice, 2017 (Sponsor: Survivor Car Australia)
  • Best voted by Public Vote, 2017 (Sponsor: Autobahn, Shepparton)

Vehicles are expected to come from all points of Victoria and Southern NSW, but they can come from anywhere. Melbourne and nearby-Melb owners should consider going to the mass departure from Wallan Roadhouse for the cruise up to Shepp. *Check for updates.
