Oktoberfest will be back in Tooborac once more, with the Tooborac Hotel and Brewery hosting its sixth annual OkTOOBerfest Beer Festival next week.
Families, groups and friends are invited to enjoy the German tradition, with the hotel set to host a band on stage, have its brewery on show, outdoor food facilities and a children’s area.
‘‘There is something for everyone here at the festival,’’ Tooborac Hotel and Brewery owner Valerie Carlin said.
‘‘We offer a jumping castle and fun-filled activities for the kids, a wide range of craft beer for the adults and live music for everyone to enjoy.’’
Head brewer Peter Martin said the venue would once again have its limited-edition German-inspired brew on tap.
‘‘This beer is only offered once a year so make sure you come and have a stein or two,’’ Mr Martin said.
On the day, a total of nine craft beers will be offered on tap between the indoor and outdoor bars with plenty in the fridge for you to take home.
All adult tickets include a 0.5 or 1litre stein filled with Tooborac craft beer, and children under five have free entry.
The day will run from 11am to 5pm on Saturday, October 28, with tickets available online or at the gate.
