Rough day for United

By Riverine Herald

First quarter: United needed to get out on the front foot and fire early if they were going to win.

And they did exactly that with a three goal first quarter.

They kept Waaia on the back burner for the quarter, only one major registered for the Bombers.

Second quarter: It was fun while it lasted.

The Bombers came out and kicked 5.10 — imagine if they had kicked straight — to just 1.1 from United in this quarter.

Waaia were easily the dominant side, very little could have stopped them.

Thankfully for United, that kicking was off-line.

It could have been far more embarrassing.

Third quarter: Four goals a piece in this quarter.

Both sides kicked reasonably accurately throughout this quarter of football.

But it looked like it was all over by three quarter time.

Fourth quarter: Waaia iced the match early, but still played some good football in the final term.

They registered a further five majors, United only managing three.

A rough old day for United.
