It’s hair today, gone on Friday for Tegan

By Campaspe News

THE big day is almost here for Tegan Williams.

She will cut her hair on Friday to raise funds and awareness for Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation to promote organ and tissue donation.

Tegan’s friend Jai Waters needed a kidney transplant when he was two-years-old and was lucky to receive it from his grandfather.

Tegan said everyone was not as lucky as Jai and that was why she wanted to support Zaidee’s and get people talking about organ and tissue donation.

Zaidee’s founder, Allan Turner, will give a presentation about the foundation at Rochester Secondary College at 1pm. All are welcome to attend.

After the presentation, Jai is going to cut Tegan’s hair and the pony tail will be donated to Wigs for Kids. All funds raised will be donated to Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation.

A rainbow and bright colours casual clothes day will also be held at Rochester Secondary College for a gold coin donation.
